You have one month. Take 24 photographs responding to each of the words in order. Using 35mm film is encouraged, but not required. If you work in a square format, be prepared to crop or add some type of background (i.e. polaroids scanned on black) in order to fit 4”x6” specifications (horizontal)

{Top Ten Records}
Top Ten Records was a large scale installation of Polaroid Top Ten lists submitted from an international selection of Polaroid makers. The show ran from September 5th – November 1st, at the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, NY.

Submit ten Polaroids (with or without captions) in the form of a top ten list (i.e. Top Ten Pictures of My Feet). You are welcome to use any type of Polaroid film. Please email (see below) if you need help finding a camera.
Submissions due:
Friday, August 22nd, 2008.
Show opens September 5th, 6–9pm (First Friday).

{The First Annual Festival of 24 Things}
The First Annual Festival of 24 Things was a collaborative exhibition where photographers were given the same list of 24 words and instructed to take 24 photographs in response. The resulting exhibition featured over 600 drugstore 4″x6″ prints in a grid that highlighted the interconnectedness of words and seeing.

February 1 – 29, 2008
24 photographers, 24 words, 29 days.
A collaborative photography exhibition of pleonastic proportions.
Opening: Friday Feb. 1, 7 – 10 pm
